Cyndy Douan, MHDL, and her husband, Jeffrey White operate Kingston Kennels,LLC, a facility near Rome, GA that they have owned for the past nine years. Enthusiastic clients and their dogs have encouraged Cyndy and Jeffrey to create the exciting Georgia Dog Gym, LLC. This is a natural progression of the growth and success of Kingston Kennels and Cyndy & Jeffrey's desire to bring more canine services to the North Georgia Area.

Cyndy Douan is President, Co-Founder, and Director of Education for the International Association of Canine Professionals.

Cyndy has been the recipient of IACP's 2004 MEMBER OF THE YEAR AWARD and the esteemed IACP PRESIDENT'S AWARD in 2002 and 2003 for outstanding service to the organization. Cyndy has served as IACP's Director of Education since the year 2000. In this position, she oversees the development and implementation of the IACP certification programs for canine professionals.

Cyndy has been a full time working dog trainer here in Georgia for 16 years, and has trained thousands of dogs in that time.

Recently, Cyndy has earned more than 25 titles since 2002 in AKC, USDAA, and NADAC Dog Agility Competition with four of her personally owned dogs. In addition to an interest in the sport of dog agility, Cyndy also trains for Tricks, Freestyle Dance (or Dancing with your dog), Frisbee Disc, Pet Therapy, and Herding.

JERRY HOPE

Jerry has been training dogs for over 30 years. He has titled over 1000 dogs in a variety of disciplines. Jerry has trained dogs that have successfully competed in obedience, tracking, agility, personal protection, Iron dog, Schutzhund, Belgian Ring and conformation, and not just with any one organization, but Jerry has prided himself in dogs that he has trained to cross over the barriers established by registries. Even with these accomplishments, Jerry’s true joy comes from seeing the excitement of a pet owner that teaches his “friend” to behave correctly in the home.

Jerry teaches group classes, private classes at his facility or in the client’s home, as well as board/training.

Classes are available for puppies, juniors, adults and specialty issues such as growl classes.
